Bubba Wallace?

Doubt it. Runs Fords for Roush.

David Ragan makes a lot of sense. Forgot about him being rideless now. I'll put my money on him or Allgaier.

Gilliland doesn't have a ride either, but no way Smoke will put him in his car.

Stewart should just declare himself eligible for Truck points. With the shallow field and Chase system he'll only have to run like 4 races and possibly retire from NASCAR with another title. Plus he won't need much fitness when green flag runs are guaranteed to be shorter than an episode of 2 Broke Girls without commercials.

He's driving the #23 for BK Racing this season.

There was a tweet from his official account out there but it's now gone and he says he was hacked.

I guess if you're at a RP track and want to either win a highly controversial race or see the biggest fucking wreck you've ever seen, Mikey is your man.

Mikey will be at Daytona but he will be driving a 3rd BK car. Tony's replacemt is still debatable.

Looks like there was a good group of people out there with Tony playing in the sand...

Quote:
More details on Stewart's accident: Legendary drag racer Don "Snake" Prudhomme gave NBC Sports a first-hand account of Tony Stewart's accident in the Southern California sand dunes Sunday. Stewart and a number of current and former racers including Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, Ray Evernham, Rusty Wallace and Prudhomme were having a day of fun in the sun and sand when Stewart became separated from the group and went missing for about 90 minutes. Here's how Prudhomme described the incident to NBC Sports:
"We were riding these sand rails. We do that quite a bit. We were all together. What really happened is, it isn't hard to get split off from one another. In other words, if a guy makes a left turn and you're not watching his flags or there's dust or something, you can make a right turn and kind of get lost. So, we got mixed up and (Stewart) was probably missing for an hour-and-a-half from the pack, at least. He was missing, he was not there. We figured maybe he got hooked up with one of the other guys. Then we were stopped and kinda gathered up and started to shoot the s- and asked, 'Where's Tony?' One of the guys (on the dunes) came driving up and said, 'Hey, one of your buddies is hurt over on the other side of the hill.' "There was about three of us who went back on our buggies and we came upon him. He was laying there. He got out of it (the sand buggy) and was laying there in the sand on his back."
"We pulled up, asked 'How you doing, dude?' He was on the ground and said his back's hurt. We made sure he could move all his legs and everything, so everything was good there." Prudhomme said Evernham took charge of the scene. Gordon, car collector Ron Pratte and Prudhomme provided assistance.

I was gonna say (before the forum went down for a while - at least for me anyway) that sounds like a friggin' movie. All-star cast.

Looking at points from last year there really is no one that jumps out for the 14 car.

I'll say Little Nemechek just because. He won't do anything too stupid.

I assume Sadler still drives for Roush?

Maybe Cole Custer?

Maybe Brendan Gaughan?

Does Michael Mcdowell have a ride?

There really is no one that just jumps out to fill in. Driver Development is dead lol.

It would be cool if they were to just go all in with Rico Abreu but he has a deal with Toyota.

Forgot about Justin Allgaier. Yeah probably him.

That or go way out there and throw Clint in the 14 now. Put Allgaier in the 15 till Tony is ready to come back and Tony can drive the 5th Stewart Haas car aka the 15.

Yeah I like that.

OR Bring Bill Elliott out of retirement just cause fuck it.

Or Harry Gant

Or Kyle Petty

I approve all of those.

Just make it the "Legends of NASCAR car."

Custer, Nemecheck and Abreu are way too inexperienced. Sadler now drives a Chevy for JRM so that's possible. No to Gaughan or McDowell. Allgaier is also possible as is Ty Dillon, unfortunately. Clint probably not due to his sponsor commitments to 5 Hour Energy. Elliott no, Gant no, Petty no.... Dave Marcus yes.
