hearing the announcement for the Truck championship format change will be next month..... NASCAR released the 2016 Truck Series schedule, Richmond backed out so there is no additions, all current venues signed until 2020 for races so basically no changes for the next 5 years.  http://www.nascar.com/en_us/news-media/ ... edule.html meanwhile in a recent NASCAR Fan Council Q&A, it suggested that the Xfinity Series is also getting a Chase-like format -_-

I see how it has "No more Cup drivers in the XF series" bolded as to draw attention away from this ridiculous idea, and they honestly don't need to do either. Almost like burying the lede. Just move XF races away from Cup dates. Cup drivers pollute XF races because Cup drivers can pollute XF races. The schedules are too similar. |

The schedules are too similar. too bad they can't move any races to other tracks now with the sanctioning agreements for all current Xfinity & Truck venues go to 2020 unless they wanted to break alot of contracts for all 3 series. |

Keeping Cup drivers from running any Xfinity and/or truck races is a ridiculous idea. The problem is that the lower divisions are over-saturated with Cup drivers right now. Just mandate the number of races they can run during the course of the season. |

It has to mean that no full time Cup driver races in ANY Xfinity races. No way in hell would you even come close to 12 different Xfinity only drivers winning a race before the chase cutoff if you let Cup guys in. RIP Kyle Busch making 100 Xfinity wins.

This would never happen and I apologize if it has already been mentioned, but a nice easy way to remove cup drivers without specifically restricting them is to simply remove the owners championship. |

Their idea to keep fans interested is to create three identical series racing on the same tracks, using the same "championship" system that's driven away tons of fans over the last ten years. This is a special kind of stupid. |

I bet it'd be eight NASCAR drivers, three IndyCar drivers and one WoO driver. They'd run Daytona, Atlanta, Eldora and the Daytona Road Course in twelve equally-prepared Camaros. Eldora would be the best race of the season by far. |
