I'm confused. Why are they allowed to cut the track so gratuitously? It's led to so many retarded wrecks but you can't blame the drivers for trying when it does give an advantage. Why not just but a solid yellow line there?

It was stupid to take it away in the first place. I don't get this trend in tarmacing over as much grass as possible.
