Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Montoya would have crashed the guy if it wasnt Mark Martin, so you can't say he is too aggressive anymore.

But great race and a great start of the chase, enjoyed the whole race.

It was close. He'll get there one day. He is still in a very good position to win this championship.

How awesome it would be if Montoya wins the championship without finishing in victory lane... Brian France would be owned.

Yeah but I doubt anyone is saying he will never win an oval race. He sounded like Kyle and you all complain about Kyle complaining so idk why you all are defending what he said.

JPM bumped down to third in post-race analysis.

Should've completely overdriven into T3.

I think you are biased, jmo. Kyle seemed gracious in defeat last week and Juan today sounded like Kyle did in Michigan. Kyle is an awesome driver and so is Juan.

So, why hasn't a caution been thrown for the AJ Allmendinger spin?

Quote:
NASCAR explains caution at end of race at New Hampshire: NASCAR officials waited most of the last lap before calling a caution and ending the race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway because of #44-AJ Allmendinger's spin on the frontstretch. Even after calling the caution, it created confusion among the drivers, some of whom raced to the finish line. "We were waiting to see if [Allmendinger] could get going and get out of the way,'' said Robin Pemberton, NASCAR's vice president of competition. "You wait as long as you can to try to not affect the outcome of a race. We don't like the race to end under caution.''(Roanoke Times)(9-21-2009)

There was no need to explain that caution. AJ spun. They held off throwing the caution in the hope AJ would move and they could race to the finish. Unfortunately AJ didn't move and they had to throw the caution so he didn't get T-boned. They did the right thing.

It seems like these days, everytime someone spins, they deliberately sit there until NASCAR's forced to throw a caution. There really needs to be a penalty for that.

At local race tracks, they will sometimes penalize them a lap for doing that. The thing is, its so hard to tell if they cant just refire the car cuz it really is stalled out or they are just sitting there waiting for the yellow. Race cars are soooo hard to get going again after they get hot.
