Visited the International Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega Superspeedway yesterday. For $16 you got a museum tour and a half hour tour bus ride around the track. It was well worth it. Lots of "famous" cars, mostly stock cars, with some other disciplines of racing mixed in. Figured I'd post it here instead of my train thread 'cause everyone would think it was just more train pictures!

I have a ton of pictures from when I went there in 2007.

It's a really cool place to just walk around for hours.

Feel terrible for Brian. Hope he recovers fast but I think this is going to come to a point where he will have to make the decision of stepping out for good.

Yea, it's probably curtains for him after this. Moffit is fast and Aaron's will want stability soon.

I guess he has to be on blood thinners to resolve the issue, and he can't race while on them.

Yeah the Aaron's thing has crossed my mind. Think they are probably geting tired of not being in a position to run for a driver's championship.

Yea he'll be out a few weeks at least, may be too much for Aaron's to deal with anymore....and with Moffitt showing strength in his debut in that car, this may just be a permanent move.

Corey Lajoie should be up further in the ranks that just apart time modified ride. Sucks sponsors love talentless rich kids.

Crazy bitch news: Kurt Busch has dropped the matter and is focused on racing. Unfortunately, Patrica Driscoll decides to keep forcing the issue:
http://motorsports-soapbox.blogspot.com ... p.html?m=1

Worst yet is that apparently, she leveraged support from Congress (specifically California Democrats) to the point where one of them wanted a 5-year full review of NASCAR...whatever that entails.

hell hath no fury for a woman's scorn or something like that.

Hell hath no fury like a whiny liberal democrat from California wanting to control everything...
