Basically the 7 races Kyle wouldn't have run anyways.

Yeah, but Boris Said? There were no better options?

Yea this one baffles me. Guess Erik Jones is getting a lot of seat time in the 20 car so that's why he isn't scheduled for more. Well it's better than putting Carl Edwards in or some shit.

If this actually means this race gets some form of coverage on Nikelodeon it could be a shrewd move on nascar's part to grow the next generation of fans.

Of course kids have less of an attention span for boring races than even the most crash hungry tbk member so who knows If they'll sit through it but it's worth a try.

That wasn't even that publicised was it? That was an actual filming shoot for the actual film to get actual footage of actual beetle in the front of an actual race.

Well I remember the movie was pretty tied into Nascar and publicized for months with the Nascar angle so...

Could be worse. At least NASCAR didn't cash in on the recent My Little Pony craze instead.

I actually went to see that movie and, of all things, the biggest problem I had with it was believing that Herbie could get through tech inspection.

In one of the 60s movies the car is sawn in half and the rear end of the car overtakes the front and it still passes post race tech so iono. Car's magic

I would like to start this post by saying that I have not and probably will not (until dvd release) see the new spongebob film but the first spongebob movie was fucking hilarious. Anyone that says otherwise is a snobby chode and should die. Seriously, that shit is gold. Check it out.

I'm happy to see spongebob sponsoring a race again and I hope it spawns at least 3 awesome paint jobs that weekend.

I don't like Spongebob myself, but honestly, it's just a way to get the younger kids into the sport.

2004. It was actually a pretty entertaining race. At one point there was a 5 way battle for the lead with all 5 cars running nose to tail making passes on each other.

why actually care about who sponsors the race? Ok it get mentioned a few times but it's not like it would magically become a better race if it was sponsored by a more "manly" sponsor.
