I assume you mean that from the view of the Fox house cleaning. Otherwise, that's pretty poor taste.

I was thinking Chase would run a select few races this season, but if nothing's been announced so, I'm not so sure. Still plenty of time for that kind of announcement, however.

Expect the one start at Homestead, his first start in Jeff Gordon's last, as a sort of special salute to Jeff's career and Chase's future.

Well, here's a hell of a find. Dale Sr's iconic Goodwrench scheme could've looked much different....

Huh... reducing that chunk of orange to a very thin line ended up being a pretty great decision. It really made the world of a difference!

Oddly enough, that would be a fun one off scheme imo

Watching the State of the Sport address....there is no way Brian France is sober...or mentally stable...He's doing nothing more than just rumbling on, stumbling over words, giving little to no info other than listing all of NASCAR's programs and saying they are a big success. He lost me earlier with "Our research shows the chase is a massive success" And also that "they dont want any changes."

Chase is "overwhelmingly popular" yet ratings didn't budge at all.

...and take apart your racecars for three-hundred laps. Then, if you pass inspection and you put your cars back together, I might let you back into the race.

Odd.

Is there a reason for that?

They've severely restricted the amount of testing this year in an attempt to save the teams money, apparently.

Boris Said just said on Radio LeMans that he will be signing a contract on Monday to run 7 NASCAR Xfinity Series races with a competitive team, also will race the 2 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series road course races. He said this is the best car/team combo he has had in NASCAR as far as the NXS races

Roush or RCR?

Well, he does have a Hendrick connection with co-owning 2 car dealerships with Rick Hendrick so it could be a Hendrick supported team. I thought JRM's 3rd car was filled up though, however there is a #5 JRM 2015 diecast on Lionel's website though. That or maybe HScott has a 2nd car in the works.

As far as non Hendrick supported teams, JGR's #54 has 7 races open most likely with Hornish going to Cup with RPM. JGR's #20 most likely has a race or 2 open as well. Not sure on RCR's #33 with Austin Dillon taking most of the races along with Brandon Jones and Paul Menard. Roush is a unknown as their was rumors with multiple drivers in the #6 or in another car (Stenhouse running a Cheez-it car in NXS for a race I think)

I read the initial quote wrong, and thought that the Cup/Xfinity teams were one and the same. If they're not, then it's got to be Gibbs or RCR. Penske would be kinda cool, though.

Ross Chastain finally gets his shot. Full time ride with JD Motorsports in the Xfinity series. He will get a few top 10's easy.
