Not a lot to Say about 2015 rule package; Fast in the corners, slower down the straits.

Fast in corners and slow on straights is the worst possible combo for good racing. Hopefully the aero push is reduced, otherwise we're fucked already...

Cool

I had no idea he was a little person. Regardless, good for him.

Yeah Ian, and that's my worry too, Chris.

The aero push won't be reduced all the time they rely on the down force coming from the bottom front area of the cars.

I won't be surprised if the racing is even worse.

I really think the racing will pretty much mimic the Nationwide series.

Yessir, he actually won the Chili Bowl. I woke up the next morning, and couldn't believe the irony in a little person winning the biggest Midget race of the season. I'm not judging in any way, shape or form, and it's quite impressive... I just couldn't help but notice. :)

Good on him, though! That's certainly something you don't see often in racing. If he can get the job done, more power to him!

If that's the case, God help us all....

The only reason I think it might be lessened is because they cut two inches off the rear spoiler. I know it will probably not be enough, but it should at least be a little better since the air won't be as disrupted as it was in 2014.

I can see why you think that, less down force on rear means less aero rake, but I don't think it'll work that way, it might if they did away with the splitter and banned the venturi-type tunnels on the oil pans, thus forcing the teams to rely more on top-down downforce, but I think all the time they allow the teams to essentially run 1970's F1 ground effect cars, they'll always have an aero push problem because of the hole the car punches in the air.

The one thing it might do is if the following car can get close to the leading car, it might bring back that effect of taking air off the spoiler and unsettling the led car, when they had the barn door spoilers, they produced so much downforce that you couldn't really take any air off by getting close.

Why don't they just listen to the drivers? Who makes these decisions? Clearly what they have been doing is not working. It's so frustrating.

Some people just can't admit when they're wrong, no matter how obvious it is.

I can only hope 2016 has a better aero package.

Less power? It's laughable. A qualifying lap at Michigan or Atlanta must be getting close to flat out.

Seemed like last year every race was a race for 2nd. You'd have either Harvick, Lolgano, Kez or JAFF, would go out and just lead major portions of the race. Don't know how that can be fixed.

I guess this is an improvement if it means each team gets one. I like the haulers but the last few races I went to had a very noticeable decline in hauler attendance.

Yeah over the years the attendance at them were definitely a lot smaller. I remember being a kid and having to wait forever with my dad in those ridiculously unorganized lines just to get something. But these days you can get shirts, hats, etc with a few clicks online so the need to obtain these items at the track have greatly diminished.

Probably more environmentally-friendly with fewer haulers going everywhere.
