Ever get the feeling NASCAR really, really wants to get some wrecks happening for the highlight reel?

On the upside someone's leading besides ROWDY.

I like how in that Farmer's Insurance ad it has Mark Martin's car doing a burnout even though I don't think he's ever done one in his life.

I understand the impact to the community, but I'd like to see the Kentucky legislature tell Bruton Smith and NASCAR to piss up a rope over asking for public funds to improve traffic flow.

This needs to happen. Specifically the Kentucky legislature's reaction.

For the ensuing reaction, I understand there's a track down here that might want its second race date back...

Read on the Stewart Haas Racing Twitter that the track had to start turning people away due to lack of parking. Good the see a race that people actually want to go to, but how do you fuck up this bad?

Its not just that...People are still backed up on the highway around the track that wanted to get in.

Darrell Waltrip is still happy about the race though

Well, ol' DW's gotta put a positive spin on it. It is, after all, his race...

Of course DW is happy. His version of NASCAR is 100% sunshine and rainbows.

I guess selling out the stands and getting their money is more important than making sure the fans get their money's worth.
