It doesn't matter, Harvick is cursed with shitty pit crews. Always has been, always will be.

Just like no matter who the crew chief for Jeff Gordon is, they will always botch a late race pit strategy call.

So this is the map I'm guessing of where the Chase drivers are doing media stuff. Most of the guys ended up on the east coast, but Earl somehow ended up in Mexico City:

I thought Nation was what the whole country was called, and the individual areas was called States (for you anyway, here we call then Counties).... as in United States of America....

So why does it say 16 Nations.....

I saw that Saturday on an advert during the race and was like what the fuck do they not teach geography anymore?

16 Nations means you have drivers from USA, Mexico, Canada, Germany, France etc. Etc.

I hate this whole twitter group pride thing. Gets worse every year. This applies to every sports team, organization, business or whoever else that creates a retarded a hashtag pride slogan thing and then their fans (mostly female) tweet it endlessly.

The subject matter warrants it. There's an extremely limited amount of NASCAR-related discussion (contemporary) that can skirt the issue of stupidity.

It has become an absolute joke. It's all just setting in now that the "Chase" is about to start....the first 35 races mean something, but very little when it comes to four guys starting at zero, and higest finsher wins??? OK fine race for wins, but getting the trophy at the end of the year is pretty worthless imo...May as well re-brand the sport, because Bill France's original NASCAR is no more.

Funny. The chances of a repeat of NASCAR's most incredible championship battle has been regulated away. Haha.

Bill France saw there was plenty of guys willing to race in circles in stock bodied cars in the southeastern United States and plenty of people willing to pay to watch them do it. His idea was, someone better sanction it, organize it, and lead it and reap the profits, and that someone might as well be me. 66 years later the France family is still pocketing the cash. So I refute your idea, NASCAR is as it always has been.

The sport always changed, evolved one way or another... There were several point systems during the years, some of them more weird that others that's for sure. But all had one thing in common, NEVER before 2004 the points acquired were rebooted, increased or anything. If it was really close in the end, good. If not well that's the way it was. To me the chase is a fake gimmick to create cheated excitement to keep casual fans around. And 2014 is the first year I didn't bother reading the full chase rules as bits I saw left and right were just depressing.

Just remember, under the current system, someone can win the first 35 races of the NASCAR season, and still come in 4th in final standings!
