Hopefully Jeb wins Daytona.

Damn, Jeb ended up in a BETTER situation than where he started...Well deserved, hope he get to go full year with Thorosport. They could easily be the "Hendrick" of the CWTS

I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen some of his promotional videos on Youtube. They actually made me dislike him rather than get hyped about him.

Nope. Gray Gaulding has Kwasniewski beat by a country mile.

They are both douchebags.

Kwasniewski really isn't a douchebag, Gaulding on the other hand…

I had the displeasure of having lunch with Gray's dad, all the guy did was brag about money and his kid. Absolutely one of the cockiest most arrogant people I've ever met. Also pitted next to the kid at the Legend's all-star race back in May, he has a bodyguard.

From what I've heard about Kwasniewski is that his father was CEO of the Hardrock Hotel and Casino business, then he overdosed on some medication and they sued for big bucks. :flag:

Speaking of… NTS just announced they'll be running GG and Newberry in the K&N East series full time '14.

When I watched that piece on TV last year about Gaulding, he seemed like a douche.

Gaulding will also have 8 truck races. Apparently he's only 15, so hopefully if he continues on his path of douchebaggery, someone will put him in his place.

Aw, man... spoiled rich kids are the future of this sport, and that bums me out more than any rule change possibly could. :(

About who's better in the booth, I guess it's all about personal preference. I like a guy who can get through full sentences without stuttering, without screwing up and mis-naming a driver, and can get you amped up in a crazy situation. That call with Sadler is a bad example, because in every major racing broadcasting moment in the last 40 years or so, they ALL describe what's going on directly in front of you, word for word.

Sadler's flip, the finish at Darlington in '03, Bob Jenkins' "BOTH OF THEM SPINNN!!!" at Wilkesboro in '89, all the way back to the '76 Daytona 500 finish... the list goes on. "I'M SCREAMING ABOUT THINGS YOU ARE CURRENTLY WITNESSING AND IT'S CRAZY!!"

It's all about how it's presented to you. I find that Bestwick's a well-spoken guy who knows his stuff, and sure, he can get Ned Flanders-ey, but it sure as hell beats Rick Allen's over-done PRRAAHHLEMS. He sounds like a guy whose career goal is to be a movie trailer narrator... or something.

Mike Joy's good too, but he's slowed down in recent years. He's not quite as quick on the draw about certain things as he used to be.

As far as commentary goes, I've found that when something truly exciting is happening, I'm too busy being my own "color commentator" to even realize what the booth is saying. That doesn't mean a great moment can't be ruined by bad commentating. The 07 and 09 Nationwide Talladega finishes are a pretty good example of that.

Those two were quite bad indeed... any call where DW and Larry Mac freak out like at Dega in 2010 ("HE'S GOT HIM, HE'S GOT HIM!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!") also goes on my shit list. haha

"REMEMBERTHESTARTFINISHLINEISJUSTPASTTHETRIOVAL Labonte wins!"

Honorable mention to DW's "Noooo! Noooo! Noooo!" whining when Earl hit the fence in 2009.

^ Still my favourite TBK Meme, way better than Kimi pits.

I'm used to the European way of doing things. Murray/Ben/Crofty etc would basically just react exactly the same as any fan would.
"WOAAAARGHHH! *Insert driver name*

"And IN to the pitlane.......WOAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHH!!! DAVID COULTHARD SMASHES HIMSELF OUT OF THE----I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE!!!"

(I love that because the moment is so crazy he interrupts himself mid-thought :p )

All the information is still there but hell if it isn't more exciting that way :p

I've heard from someone who has personally met Dylan Kwasniewski at Phoenix in 2012 that apparently he's no douche at all.

RoyalPurple and Rockstar like presenting him as douche to sell more shit.
Like that flat-billed Rockstar hat they give him that looks like the dumbest hat on Earth.

Considering the culture Rockstar Energy Drink surround themselves with, that's no surprise at all.
