As an fyi...

Q. What happens if qualifying can't be completed because of weather or other adverse conditions?
A. If one or more qualifying sessions are completed, the starting positions will be determined based on the most-recently completed qualifying sessions.

But since the first session didn't finish.. yet... none of it counts. Which would put Bobby Gerhart back on pole.

Surprised in writing the rules for this no one ever imagined this scenario. How are the rules not black and white?

They are discussing on the scanner that they may go by times in this session as every car was able to run.

I missed the session. The charts seem to indicate several people did tandem laps. I thought that was banned.

Gerhart and one other driver had their laps disallowed for tandem. Otherwise no tandem. Lots of pack drafting.

Sprint Cup practice round 2 is cancelled. Still no word if Nationwide qual will finish or go straight to Trucks qual.

UPDATE: If Nationwide doesn't resume the first uncompleted session will count.

Track looks dry. No dryers on track. Cars uncovered. But they are just sitting around and visual rain to the west. Annoying.

Looks like none of the ESPN networks are covering it, and because they had the contract? neither is FS1. Awesome.

Session one complete. But it is spitting again.
