Ryan Reed is a great Daytona story. Roush guys seem good at this this decade. My guy Ross Chastain got wiped out and still got a top 10 cause of the wrecked car count. 10/10 race, just hopin' Kyle will be back.

Yeah we still need our Danica Hat-Trick.

I said it earlier but no-one noticed so fuck you all, I'm gonna keep saying it til someone meme's it or the third crash actually happens and the commentators say it and think they're all original or some shit...

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Alright seriously....these two Canadian jackasses are completely unwatchable. They're not funny at all.

I've been done with these slapdicks since yesterday, hopefully they only work FS1 and are sans them tomorrow.

Aside from Kyle going out like he did, top tier race all the way through. BIG congrats to Ryan Reed and major props to NASCAR for not waving the yellow.

Best race of Speedweeks by far.

Really nice to see a first time winner, thought the race was pretty good. Hope that Kyle is alright after that hit though.

They only do stuff on FS1/FS2, however I think FOX has done FOX Sports Live updates during some of the commercial breaks during the Cup races. If anything I wish FOX would start doing side-by-side commercials again (although, the last time they did it just added more commercials to the race instead of cutting down/keeping the same time of commercials like how NBC & ESPN do it)

The windshield's caved in slightly, too. That's not good.

I guess the positive side of seeing such a brutal hit into concrete is how well the HANS and belt systems worked. It sucks ass that he's probably messed up his leg but to survive a hit like that would have been unthinkable not too long ago. To be honest, right after it happened I was worried he was going to be in a much worse state than he seems to be in now.

Just tuned into Sportcenter, and there's the breaking new about Kyle Busch suffers right leg injury.

That wheel is pushed back so far. And they wrapped his left leg. I hope it's not serious... Another note, Kurts final appeal is at 7:30 but local reports are he went to Halifax to be with Kyle.

It was his right leg, actually.

Marty Smith (he must have been close to the scene) tweeted that they had it in an air cast.

Kurt's not at the hospital, he's at his appeal.

Anyway, wtf Daytona/NASCAR, how do you not line the entire track with SAFER barriers? So stupid.

Gotta drop almost half a billion on making the place pretty. Can't let the actual product get in the way of that.

At least everyone's calling them out on it, I'd be willing to bet by July, at the very least, that section has SAFER barriers.

Per a bunch of sources: Kyle Busch OUT for the Daytona 500.
