Now official: Rick Allen hired as lead announcer for NBC, with Jeff Burton joining him.

I think Jeff Burton will do well in the booth. You can tell in his interviews that he knows his stuff and he has a good voice for TV, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being a similar announcer to Dale Jarrett.

Bestwick was with NBC in the past IIRC. It makes sense for him to go back but oh well.
