Hopfully Busch crashes into Harvick at Homestead and Gordon finally gets that elusive 5th title.

I think Ryan Newman last year was even more convincing. He was about this close to winning the championship while winning no races in a points system that was tailor-made to reward drivers far more for winning. At least Kyle got into the championship on some merit. If he had won just one race, it might have been less deserving, but he won not one, not two, not three, but four races. One can venture to think how many more races he could have won.

At least Harvick made it in. And if Gordon wins it, well, it will make up for some of those other ones the Chase took away from him.

Gordon is my favourite driver of the four remaining, but how can somebody who has had such an average season be crowned champion? Where would he be in points? About 10th? Kyle about 20th?

I'm no fan of Logano, but for him to have no shot at the championship this season is criminal. I guess that leaves Harvick as a 'worthy' winner, and I can't be pleased about that after the move he pulled at Dega.

I also stayed true to my word and didn't watch a lap of either of the last two races. Didn't feel like I missed anything. You guys should try it. :p

Honestly, I couldn't care less how shitty this race was, look at the four drivers with a shot to win the championship and the potential amazing story-lines for all of them: Harvick going for two in a row; Gordon in his final season; Kyle being injured and only running half the schedule; Truex and the diminutive one-car team. There was seriously no better outcome.

Agreed.

Will be pulling for Gordon next week, but outside of him, I'd really like seeing Truex winning it all.

A fitting way to decide the final cutoff. I hope it rains next week as well.

I actually feel bad for Jr. He would have the points lead right now if he was 12 inches further forward at Dega. His finishes have been great this last month.

Got two guys I'd love to win the title and two I'd hate to see win it....who know wtf drama is gonna happen. If JAFF doesn't win it'll be a travesty. Oh and rain in the forecast.

People often criticise Jr for his performances, but he would actually be third in the standings on points alone. Higher than all the other Hendrick drivers.
