someone raised an interesting point on another forum. you could have one chase driver dominate this race and lead the most laps but fall back at the end and finish one position behind another chase driver who ran bad all day but got lucky on pit stops or whatever. the driver who finishes ahead gets the championship as no bonus points are awarded

A race like kyle's nw dominance but losing out on the final lap after a restart last week would be hilarious

The beauty of Nascar.

I love how in Nascar the dominant car has more chance of not winning, making it less predictable.
