Maybe, but I would be scared too if I entrusted a professional race car driver to drive a race car that I happen to sit in. It's a different perspective from the other side.

Yep. I think my sister's the best driver I know (aside from me, of course), and I trust her with my life. Still, when I'm in the passenger seat with her, I feel like my toes are digging into the floorboards. It's not a trust issue, because I'm sure Darrell knows Tony's one of the very best wheelmen out there, but the simple notion of not being in control is disconcerting.

Also, whoever says Allen Bestwick sucks is whacked out on Scooby Snacks.

Been round in a 2 seater F3 car, can't say I had any fear at all. He was proper ragging it too, and I just wanted him to go faster lol.

The difference between you an DW is, as far as I know, you've never raced.

My Dad was the same, egging me on to go faster, non stop yacking, but when I had my usually chatty colleague alongside me, he was conspicuously silent the entire time and when I glanced down, he had his feet crossed as well, you do that because it stops you reaching for the brake pedal that isn't there . As Andre says, it's a control issue, not a fear or trust one.

Yep. Entrusting someone to drive the same car you're in. You probably trust the guy, you just surrender control to that guy.

I think it probably is a control issue. I could race a car on the absolute limit, and I'd love it. If I was a passenger, and the driver was only giving it about 75%, I'd still be absolutely petrified. I'm a useless passenger. It also means I can't go on any rollercoasters. :p

They have aesthetically ruined Pocono, the inside walls look like complete shit, on top of other things.

I absolutely cannot wait for our trip there in August (every year since '96, whoo!), but if our view from the seats is messed up because of the walls\catchfencing, I'll be a bit pissed.

Might already be the last year I'm going as it is. :(

*EDIT*

No catchfencing. Fewf. Still might be my last year there, though.

I like the look of it. It almost looks kind of like one of those big, crazy fictional tracks from NR2003 became a reality.

What...what kind of anthem is that. The mic messing up probably threw her off, but that was still pretty awful
