I think it's just from Cup because earlier this summer he expressed interest in running ARCA full time at some point.

In start and park news, Michael McDowell will be driving the Levaine Family Racing Ford full time next year...Wonder if the 98 will be gone?

I imagine Michael has more of a chance to fun some full races with the Levaine car.

I could see Blaney getting booted from TBR if Jeff Burton comes in. Blaney and Phil Parson's would be good for the plate races.

Granted it'll probably be Johnny Sauter's triumphant return to the Cup series.

Sauter just re-signed with the 98 Thorsport truck team through 2015, doubt he would take up a full time offer in addition.

The Burton going to TBR scenario has been a realistic possibility in my mind, probably the only one with a chance of happening for a while since his announcement.

Wonder if Burton would consider going to FAS Lane Racing? His most successful years were with Frank Stoddard as his crewchief, might enjoy working with him again.

Start and parking in the Cup Series and racing in the truck series is pretty feasible.

I hope that, if Burton ends up going to TBR, Yeley loses his seat and Blaney keeps his. Blaney has more skill (and if I'm not misaken, has brought in more sponsorship) than Yeley, and I honestly think Burton and Blaney would be a good fit. Nothing against Yeley, I've just always found him to be a tad overrated.

That being said, I totally forgot about Stoddard and FAS Lane Racing. That'd be a fun match-up!

NASCAR Penalizes RCR Truck Team

NASCAR has penalized members of Richard Childress Racing for their part in last Saturday's Camping World Truck Series race incidents at Martinsville Speedway.

Crew chief Paul (Marcus) Richmond has been fined $10,000 and crew member Adam Brown has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR. Both are members of the No. 3 team of driver Ty Dillon.

The punishment came in the wake of the incident between Dillon and Kevin Harvick during last Saturday's Kroger 200 at Martinsville. After the duo tangled on the race track, the feud boiled over to both drivers making contact with one another after the caution flag was display and then boiled over to pit road.

When Harvick stopped in Dillon's pit several members of the No. 3 team rushed his truck and a rubber mallet flew toward the truck for behind pit wall.

“I don’t care what they throw at me," said Harvick after the race. "It’s exactly why I’m leaving RCR because you’ve got those punk ... kids coming up."

And the 1 back in the DEI days.

Truex will be just fine. He's competitive, he just doesn't have a few W's to back them up.

Time to pull on his Dancing shoes and dance his way out of this mess, as is traditional.
