How many more years will the backstretch grass stick around before it inevitably gets paved for "safety"?

They can pave all the grass now. The last few years of R&D show we can still have really cool flips without it.

They saw it happen but cut back to the leaders.

Like how he was smoking for half a lap but no one around him made any effort to give him room to get out of the pack. Lucky that tyre didn't let go there and then

I can't understand why somebody doesn't give Sieg a good drive. All the top Cup teams already have their future drivers lined up, and some talent is being missed.

See, when you don't have the caution clock, they spread out enough for the green flag stops.

Has that big bundle of tyres always been there at the end of pit road? Doesn't seem entirely sensible

So, just a silly question because it pisses me off.. When did they get rid of the "You have to be single file to get on pit road" rule? I mean shit, once the line of cars come to pit they just dive 5 wide and pass each other then still come 3 wide down pit road. Fuck that. IF you can have a yellow line rule that they can't pass below it, then the second yellow line should be a rule too when pitting. Pretend its fucking grass from the access lane to the wall. If you can't get on pit road without using 3/4 of the apron to the inside wall, you shouldn't be in NASCAR.
