Wasn't the 56 also in "that position" because he and his team didn't make the most of their first 25 chances? Basically, according to his logic, don't put yourself in a position that is vulnerable to manipulation unless it's to your benefit. |

You can't call the teams that lost out here not good enough but not apply that to the team that resorts to this to beat them. |

I used to like Michael Waltrip, 10+ years ago, he was always funny on Inside Winston Cup with Bestwick/Schrader/Benson. Now I can't stand him, between his poor attempts at cheating, and being a complete shill... What happened? I know teams cheat to get an edge, and as much as I hate Johnson/Knaus, when they cheat and get caught, it just doesn't seem as pathetic as when MWR does it. |

Chris and Philthy, I understand what you're saying and I agree to a point. All of the guys on the edge have missed chances, but I don't understand NASCAR penalizing a team for being shrewd when they've created this situation by allowing too many drivers into the Chase, or really even having the Chase at all. |
