Quote: Penalties have been levied to two NASCAR Nationwide Series teams as a result of their involvement in separate post-race incidents following last Friday's race at Richmond International Raceway. Thomas Costello and Michael Scearce, both crew members for the #2 team, have each been fined $15,000 and suspended from NASCAR until the completion of the next four NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship events. They have also been placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31. Both Costello and Scearce were found to be in violation of Section 12-1 (Actions detrimental to stock car racing. Involved in an altercation with another competitor after the race had concluded). Drivers Nelson Piquet Jr. (#30 car) and Brian Scott (#2 car) have been placed on NASCAR probation until June 26 for violating Section 12-1 and their involvement in an on-track altercation with their two cars after the race had concluded. Crew chiefs Chris Carrier (#30 car) and Phil Gould (#2 car) have likewise been placed on NASCAR probation until June 26 as a result of the on-track incident between their two drivers. Piquet gives us a preview of the truck race at Mosport. The view from the side facing cam gives you a good idea of the sheer drop before Moss corner. |

Out of the "I didnt see that coming" section. Quote: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Concord, N.C. (Thursday, May 2, 2013) - Successful real estate developer and Lamborghini Carolinas CEO Eddie Littlefield, along with winning NASCAR team owner Robby Benton, and NASCAR driver and Sprint Cup Series Rookie-of-the-Year Kevin Conway announce today the formation of Change Racing - a new team that will compete full time in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series. Change Racing is based in Concord, NC, housed in a state of the art 40,000 square foot facility. In addition to competing for the 2013 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series World Championship, Change Racing with Lamborghini Carolinas will be providing trackside support, engineering, and program management for other Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series teams and drivers throughout North America. Change Racing is also pleased to announce a multi-year driver agreement with NASCAR driver and team principal, Kevin Conway as the team’s lead driver. “It is a great honor and privilege to race in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series,” said Conway. “I have a passion for road racing and Lamborghini builds the world’s best super cars. Racing high-horsepower, high-downforce Lamborghinis on some of the greatest circuits in North America is one of the most exciting and exclusive things you can do as a race car driver. I’m ready to start the next chapter in my racing career with Eddie, Robby and Lamborghini.” “We represent some of the most desired exotic super cars the world has to offer to an exclusive clientele and we found it fitting to participate in a motorsports program that is as exciting as our cars. When Lamborghini announced a North American Blancpain Super Trofeo Series, I was the first in North America to commit to the series and quickly began putting together a world class organization with Robby and Kevin,” said Littlefield, Lamborghini Carolinas CEO and Change Racing team principal. “We are very excited to get the season going.” “Over the past six years we have been able to build a winning team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with the help of great partners. I am excited to partner with Kevin and Eddie to build a winning program with Lamborghini in the Blancpain Super Trofeo Series,” said Benton, one of the youngest team owners in NASCAR and the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series. |

Or did I miss something? Edit: Ahh, should have read more closely - referring to Benton's RAB team winning Montreal 2010 with Boris. |
