That was one of the best Pocono races I've ever had the chance to attend. I'll be the first to tell you that it can be a bit of a boring place at times, but there was lots of action going on yesterday (a lot of it on the front stretch in front of us), and it was a blast.

Can't wait to watch the Glen!

Which is very unfortunate because Junior will never be at that level.

Personally I've never expected Jr to be anywhere near as good as his dad. And actually at first, I started pulling for Kevin Harvick when he first came in. Guess I just found Dale Jr more likable.

The thing is Jr doesn't seem like he's having fun like he used to. Look at clips of him from the 90's - the early 00's. He had a lot more energy. Not only on the track but in interviews and all that. It seemed like everything sort of changed around '05. Not only his on track performances but his whole attitude. Also, it's like his heart isn't in it anymore.

I think the excessive pressure's just getting to him. Things have turned around, and he'll be fine.

Peaks and valleys, man - that's what this sport is all about. Even the best drivers go through them. Not saying that Jr.'s the best, or anything, but he's good enough to win more races than he has.

NASCAR's licensing has permenantly ruined the diecast market. I liked it when I could buy a 1:64 scale car of pretty much any driver in Cup and a good chuck in Busch or a basic 1:24 scale car for 10 bucks or something like that of most Cup drivers in places like Target or K-Mart.

Those were the days. I remeber the old Racing Champion cars. Like the really old ones with black windows and the sponsors (if any) were stickers.
