Anyone knows a good site about past NASCAR championships? I mean, not only the statistics of each race and points, but a real history of each year, like you were reading a book, a megazine etc. I started watching NASCAR for real in 2005 and I want to get updated in their history. Very very updated.

I've got points to some past years,like Late Model Sportsman(now nationwide) from the mid 70s up the 80s,may be missing a couple years.Also have stuff like that for Modifieds,Goody's Dash and Winston West.

I don't know a good website but the Encyclopedia of NASCAR is a GREAT coffee table book (even though its about 350 pages) and it details every year from nascars inception with great pictures timelines and stories.
