just got around to watch the showdown, and the Lm race after it...

..to bad the 17 cautions made the race run to long and my dvr shut off a couple laps into the late model race..that sucks, because it looked like a good race to watch :( ..kind of hoping speed would re-air it soon, but i couldnt find anything

Cool, kid from just down the road. His family runs a Legends team here in the area during the summer, and I pass by their shop all the time on the way to school. I hope he makes it.

SPEED will be airing all NASCAR Camping World East and West Series races as one hour highlight shows on Thursdays at 3 PM.

Well I'm glad that they're on a channel I actually have this year but it's unfortunate that it's only going to be a one hour highlight show.

I'm gonna assume he went to the track and watched it live, like people used to do in the olden days. ;)

You'll probably see me on tv. When the cars were on the grid I walked along the pits and got photos of all the cars. During the race I was in a sot with 3 friends where there werent many other people. Im in a Jeff Gordon hoodie.

The East-West Series combination event was run this weekend at Iowa, and everyone's favorite douchebag decided to show up and ruin everything.
Quote:
Kyle Busch accomplished on Sunday what previous visiting NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers could not do – win the NASCAR Camping World Series East-West combination race at Iowa Speedway. While Kevin Harvick had to settle for second place in 2007 and Kasey Kahne came away as the runner-up in 2008, Busch took the first-place trophy in the Long John Silver’s 200. Busch, fresh from competing in the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte Saturday night, made the most of a Sunday morning practice session at Iowa to fine tune the set up of his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He went on to capture the Coors Light Pole Award and dominate the race – leading 168 of the 200 laps. With Sunday's victory, Busch locked up a secure starting spot in the postseason NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown. While Busch was heading to victory, defending race winner Brian Ickler and David Mayhew waged a fierce door-to-door battle in the closing laps. Ickler prevailed to take second place, with Mayhew finishing a close third. Jeffrey Earnhardt passed Paulie Harraka in the closing laps to grab fourth.
