That first part of the Spoon Curve should be called the McLaren's, seems to eat their cars.

The only case that fan is a crook is if he pretends the helmet was worn or used by Martin during his F1 days. Otherwise, when there's no lie about merchandise and its price, and there's a buyer, it's just called a sale no matter how it's perceived.

Crook also commonly means dishonest or disreputable rather than straight-up criminal. He thought he was just signing a fan's memorabilia.

A trader posing as a fan to bump up the value of his merch is definitely that kind of crook.
