I like it. Simple, but effective

It looks half-finished to me.

Thumbs up from me. Removing most of the fiddly detail actually really helped here. Bold, simple colours.

I'm still betting on a white and red McLaren. Consider it called.

Agree. It looks like the painters did the undercoat and then said "that'll do!"

It looks nice! At least much better than almost all of their previous efforts...

We're in the age of cost-cutting - no budget for clearcoat.

that makes sense so don't expect that from McLaren.

Doesn't really make sense to me. Last year they (Ron Dennis) said they didn't want to stay stuck in the past with a red/white livery. It would be odd if they suddenly changed their mind.

So yeah, I expect a red/white livery this year.

At last, we've become as non-sensical as F1 itself.

I wouldn't normally suspect anything like it, but over Christmas and the new year all of their online branding changed from 2015's black and red to white and red, accompanied by many social media posts of Marlboro-liveried cars.

Of course Ron did rule out white and red last year. That said, a team run by him would not change its branding like this without a reason.

Perhaps that indicates it'll be red/white after all.

And to look for a reason; haven't they found a title sponsor recently? Could have been another bogus-story though.

So I notice. It was a scene from the painters in the Fast Show.
