This is actually a damn good concept for the future. Don't let the teams run more than 30 minutes before qualy, then just race.[/quote]

Isn't this the basic concept of GP2?

For some reason cannot quote you.

Why not let the the tyres be produced by the Josti Band.

Come on. Its racin. It is competition. Dominating is not the issue, dominating without the possibility of gaining is. In my opinion. Did Ferrari give up in 98? That kind of year is impossible now. The order is set from start until the end of the year.

Sky News saying that the FIA are going to make an announcement regarding the rest of the weekend shortly.

They also played a short clip with Christian Horner saying that the rules about what happens if qualifying can't be run were changed fairly recently & that if qualifying can't be run the starting order will be decided based on the results of the last completed session which in this case would be FP1.

Amazingly, it now looks as if tomorrow's race will be bone dry.

If you want a vague idea of how Austin is right now, have a webcam from downtown: http://www.earthcam.com/usa/texas/austin/?cam=austin

Yeah there's no way there's any running today, conditions will only deteriorate with heavy thunderstorms.
