I believe they came to one more race (Hungary or Spa), at least the cars, I think I have seen either footage trough a garage door or photo's from them. I remember Dutch fans having made a banner "TOM EAT SHIT AND DIE" and showed it at I believe Melbourne

So let's get this straight...

Manor could not get onto the track due to software issues
Sauber might get it's cars impounded
McLaren will barely cover any laps
Force India expects not to have a positive weekend

Well that's only 12 cars left then.

In 2005 they missed all of the Friday running because they turned up with a 2004 spec car & therefore failed scrutineering.

Paul Stoddart took the FIA to court insisting he should be allowed to race with 2004 spec cars, He won an injunction allowed them to take part on Saturday but ended up converting the 2004 cars to 2005 spec anyway, Later saying he was only trying to prove a point.

I never did quite understand what he was trying to do that weekend, If they had the 2005 spec parts & could have converted the 2004 cars to meet the 2005 aero regulations then why waste time going through the courts insisting they could only run with the 2004 spec cars.

Well its one way he made his fortune. With Renault looking to buy a team I'd also consider getting a share in a potential target.

To me, as an spectator, this is just great. I'm not excited for what will happen on track, when it comes to F1. I'm not much interested in the pecking order, who will win and etc. Racing wise, I'm much more excited for Formula E this weekend than Australian GP. The thing that makes F1 appeals to me these days are these sagas like Alonso's crash and VdG/Sauber trial
