Eddie Jordan just got a custard pie to the face from a couple of Mercedes mechanics. DC declared it his moment of the year :D

Palmer might end up without any drive next year because he's useless according to all of us.

It's hard to tell when EJ is trolling, bearing in mind how often his outlandish predictions come true. Then again, I would be surprised if no other German manufacturer is bothered about letting Mercedes clean up in the public's perception of the pinnacle of motor racing.

Ferrari won all races except 1 in 1952-53.

"That was not F1!"

Shut the fuck up.

Both 52 and 53 were run under F2 regulations, yeah.

Meh, stats lie.

1988 - 15 wins out of 16 races, 94% win ratio
2002 - 15 wins out of 17 races, 88% win ratio

2014 - 16 wins out of 19 races, 84% win ratio

What would the statistics look like if we would count points for the team, using the old points system for having a better comparision? Because Mercedes didnt just get a lot of wins but also a lot of doubles.

I did the math, using the current point-system (wihtout the double points for the Abu Dhabi GP).
The results:

All three teams (1988 McLaren, 2002 Ferrari and 2014 Mercedes) won 35% of the available points for their season.

1988:
Senna: 275 points
Prost: 301 points (quite interesting to see that under the current point system Prost would had won that championship)
=> total of 567 points for McLaren -> 567 from 1616 (16 races) = 35%

2002:
Schumacher: 380
Barichello: 223
=> total of 603 points for Ferrari -> 603 from 1717 (17 races) = 35%

2014
Hamilton: 359
Rosberg: 317
=> total of 676 points for Mercedes -> 676 from 1919 (19 races) = 35%
