Probably cuz then they need to hire 20 pepole to operate 20 onboard cameras around the car where the action is. And that is expensive for F1.
I like the current camera solution

Also, they found after the 180 degree cam trial that the European viewers were not that keen on "gimmicky" camera angles.

Also also, the 360° gimmick only really works on ovals, where the passing is gradual enough for them to keep up with panning.

those rotating cameras could spark a lot of backlash if they miss some incident because they're focusing on the worng position

As I've mentioned before I think they're way overused in Indycar, you just want to focus ahead during an onboard shot and the cameras spinning round and round and round and...

I agree here. It's a nice gimmick but I honestly don't like it.

And the reminder that Luis Razia exists. I completely forgot about him, and I think most of you did as well.

Luiz Razia career is completely gone after that Marussia deal went sour

nowadays he does favourable car reviews to those who pay to feature their cars in a sunday morning motoring show

Here's an OnBoard I just spotted that we can add to the list of cameras I don't think we've ever seen footage from. One on the side of Giancarlo Fisichella's car at the 2004 Italian Gp.

Cheers Stef! But also - Daaaaaammmmnnn! Another camera angle we'll never get to see what the actual view is like. Especially with this one being in a unique, non-standard / very low down on the side (like the '95 Pacific, '98 Ferrari & '11 Mclaren).

Quality isn't great but here's another one to tick off the wanted list, Trulli @ Nurburgring in 2000 from his lap to the grid.

And one from Frentzen's car @ Montreal in 2000, Again from his lap to the grid.

Wowser! Many thanks again Stef! Probably the only time a team has ever run the "shouder-cam" in two different positions in one year.

Here's 2020's camera library thus far. Just missing Williams rear facing t-cam, Haas cockpit facing cam, and nose cams from Mercedes and Red Bull
