But that doesn't work. "Like he did at the end of the race" - when everybody is spread out. If he pitted when you suggested he'd actually be last, because the field would still be bunched.

Yeah... he'd have come out last on new slicks rather than 4th on new slicks. Not entirely sure what the advantage is there.
