Well if Felipe reacts to this instruction anyway like he did to last weekend's, I fully expect him to be sitting in his car, arms folded, and refusing to get out like a moody child.

And then Nasr gets to start the GP

Well, apart from the ocean of negativity that is hauting this forum. I`m looking forward for this race, and I`m probably going to enjoy it, just like the first 2 of this year.

Anyone with me? Or you all just wanna cry and moan like crybabies?

Previous to the team order incident, it was said that Nasr would replace Bottas in all his 3 FP1s. Don't know if anything will change but people close to Massa already leaked to the press that Patrick Head called Felipe to ask apologies...

FFS Sauber, give the boot to either of the current ones and give the seat to Frijns, he can't be worse then them. Gutierrez might be safe if Slim still injects decent money into the team but the fact that Sutil is still in the grid is beyond anything I can fathom.

Felipe is desperate and the ridiculous behaviour of our journalists increase it a lot. The brazilian media, made it look like Massa saved his reputation and set his place as a driver with great attitude by disobeying the team orders, like it could erase all the years he was just a doormat for Alonso. In Williams, a team that hasn't win a championship since 1997, with a teammate in his 2nd year in F1, it's very easy to do, in a team like Ferrari, that fights for victories and titles year by year, against a driver like Alonso, two times champion and with the political strenght he has inside Ferrari is a completelly different history. Massa tried to use Williams and Bottas to make his image better and this is simply ridiculous, but like I said, he has the support from our media, our motorsport journalists. Unfortunatelly the level of our motorsport coverage is terrible if you look at the history Brazil has in the sport.

PS: I really hope Nasr will get his car. Williams has to teach Massa the most important lesson, doesn't matter who you are, after all you are an employee of the team and you must follow orders!

Sutil has a big problem in that the C33 is way over the weight limit (probably costing the 0.6s/lap) and he's a tall driver.

Plus the car is shit anyway.

Ouch! The poblem is critical then, 0.6s is way too much time to be lost. Any news about possible changes/improvements on that regard?

I've written a Bahrain preview. Getting paid for hits again so if you could give it a click, I'd be very grateful: http://bettinginstinct.com/2014/04/02/b ... he-desert/

Quote:
The poll which began a few days ago on http://www.ferrari.com to sound out people’s opinion on the show put on by the new Formula 1, has come to an end with over 50,000 fans expressing an opinion.

83% are disappointed with the new format, dismissing it mainly because of the drivers being forced to lift off to save fuel. In addition, the fans don’t like the noise from the new engines and are confused by rules that are too complicated.

Interesting to note that the “no” vote increased dramatically after the Malaysian Grand Prix. The most vociferous in their opinions were the Italians, British, French and Australians, these countries having long links to Formula 1. But there were also plenty of votes from large countries such as the United States and India.

Important to say that this was a Ferrari poll (ergo, fans hate it when Ferrari don't win) and nowhere in the poll did it give you the option to explain why you didn't like the sport as it is!

Plus interesting that they mention fuel (which is supposedly a key Ferrari weakness), plus the 'rules are too complicated'. It's YOUR job to explain the rules to the fans!!

Back to the Sutil and Sauber's weight issue... http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/3087 ... ut-weight/

This is very dangerous and shows once again how insane some rules are, to force drivers to desperate lose weight or make the car lighter.

Like Abu Dhabi, but without the multi-coloured phallic hotel.
