No limitation on the number of cilinders (bring back the roaring V12s!) no rev limits I don't care about much about shifting Tyres, bring back the big mid 70s rear tyres Helmet styles: simple, clear & sticking with it! This sounds fun. -2000-style shape -Choice of 4: 3.5 liter racing N/A, 1.5 liter racing turbo, 2.65 liter stock block turbo, 7 liter stock block N/A. No limits on cylinders, rev limits, no minimum engine life, and no penalties for engine changes. -5 to 7 speed, H-pattern manual. Anything that resembles a paddle shift or sequential shift is outlawed. -Goodyear or Firestone racing slicks - closely resembling mid-90s CART slick tires -Classic Ferrari, Marlboro McLaren, Canon/Camel Williams, JPS Lotus, Leyton House March -Suzuka, Spa (pre-bus stop adjustments), Watkins Glen (without anything resembling a chicane), Monza (no chicanes), Montreal -Ayrton Senna (1991), Alain Prost (1985), Sebastian Vettel (2013), Gilles Villeneuve (1982), Michael Schumacher (1995) On a side note, anything that resembles electronic driver aids is outlawed. Same with those steering wheels with twice as many buttons as an average computer keyboard. Just drive the race car and call it a day. Can't drive the car? Give it to someone who can. |

This would probably be mildly chaotic on the grip front ... Cars: Mid-60s 1.5 litre cars. Engines: Mid-80s 1.5 litre turbos. No fuel limits or engine life restrictions, but no variable boost either. Gearbox: 6 speed stick shift, manual clutching. Tyres: 2009 spec slicks but of late-60s proportions to give them very slightly more grip. Liveries: Camel Lotus. Elf Tyrell. Classic Ferrari. 1996 Jordan B&H. Marlboro McLaren. Tracks: Old Hockenheim for flat out blast, slipstreaming and chicanery. Nordschleife - obviously. Monaco in Night Mode. Osterreichring. Screw it, Old Spa as well. Drivers: Gilles Villeneuve. Ayrton Senna. Michael Schumacher (early 2000s form). Lewis Hamilton. Keke Rosberg. |
