5 for me, worse than 2011 (and I already can't remember anything from that year).

A 1 for me.

Compared with 2012 I was very disappointed.

What a load of rubbish. And if you think I mean because of Vettel then think again. I hope he wins every race next season. Image

6 - the start of the season was great though, but then they changed the tires and the whole thing went dull

maybe we need this kind of borefest as 2014 breaks through with better races (or the same as usual, Vettel x5)

Not the best season, not the worst. First half of the season was exciting but it did fizzle out. 7.

7. First half was very good. After the summer break the racing was gone with the old tyre compounds, RedBullhad gotten their waythanks to politics and could cruise to the title. Grosjean and hulkenberg werethe stars of the second half ofthe season. Without them it would have been a 6

I'm being generous and I'll give it a 6. Last year was worth of 9. Some say that this has been the worst season that they've ever seen, but I'm not that harsh. This is par with Schumacher domination era seasons 2002 and 2004. It takes away a lot when after a lap one you can tell that this one certain German dude is going to win without breaking a sweat. This is what makes 2002 and 2013 similar. Thank God there's big changes coming up for the next year. An anti-climatic end of V8 era only makes the dawn of the V6 turbos look better, even though on the paper it's not looking so great. But let's all just enjoy the 2014-2018 era that still has lightweight cars with power, since 2019-2022 is probably going to have ethanol 1.2 NA I4 and two silly little electric motors while the car weights about 800 kg.

JUST F*CKING BRING BACK THE V10's WITH 900HP / 600KG!!!

Judging by preliminary GP ratings the average will be ~6, which I think is a truthful depiction of the season.
Best races were Bahrain and Silverstone, but the lack of outstanding races and the large number of dull races (Spain, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Singpore, India, Abu Dhabi, USA), especially after the summer break, left a bad aftertaste.
It tells a lot about this season. Some blame the tyres, some blame FIA, some blame Vettel, some blame bad luck. It's probably combination of them all.

Fortunately, after bad year one appreciates more even an average race. 2012 we were spoiled by surprises, so no wonder we got an impression that this year sucked more than ever.

A 2. First part was promising. Red Bull didn't dominate but the other opponents just failed in many ways. The second part was decided by the FIA by changing the tyres and thus giving Red Bull the title.

The amount of stupid FIA decisions, DRS and shitty tracks also contributed in my low rating.

4, no complaints about the first half of the season but expected Vettel to at least have some sort of competition for the title, and 9 victories in a row as remarkable as it is really didn't keep me interested. Props to him for starting a trend with donuts though.

1 - Easily one of the worst seasons I've watched (started in 1991). The few good points just don't make up for how rubbish the majority of the season seemed to be. Even NBC's highlight package showed little other than Vettel's finger, there was so little "action" to speak of on track.

2 - What motorsport fans usually want is a fight for the championship. Having the WDC decided at the last race like in 2010 and 2012 already tells a lot about the season usually.
But even if the season is dominated by a single driver, we would at least need decent races which we barely had, especially after the summer break.
I can't remember any rain races and this was the first time actually that I turned off the TV and did something better with my sunday.
There is a great hope for 2014 to be very better, we will see!

6 - not a classic but certainly not as bad as a lot of people make out. 2002, 2004 and 2011 were much worse. The first half was pretty good and there were some good races. The last 9 haven't been great but that first half had more action than 2002, 2004 and 2011 combined.
