Heading off to Sepang, sitting in the K1 grandstand at turn 1. Was in Singapore 6 months ago and loved the experience. Hope KL is as nice.

Didn't go to Jerez in the end due to a toxic combination of being skint and busy.

Just got my tickets for the Spanish GP. 3 day tickets, general admission (grass areas). This will be my second F1 race after Singapore in 2012. Can't wait!

I'm in a bit of a crisis here. Was looking at two possible campings outside of the F1 circuit at Spa but both are already sold out :(.
I would like to avoid the F1 camping due to price, but i don't want to be 10km away from the track.

Any help :( ?

I think I might try Spa Sunday general admission with a ridiculously early train ride to Liege.

Just have the feeling it will be Kimi's last season before being replaced by either Hulkenberg or Bianchi (unless Alonso leaves)

Tickets for Spa have arrived. And Glorfindel noticed when booking the camping that our tent from 2010 is featured on the website.

Fame at last.

Honestly, for the convenience and atmosphere I can't recommend the green campsite enough. It has parties, showers, plenty of toilets and is a 20 second hungover stumble to the spectator entrance. Plus Glorfindel and I will be there.

I couldn't imagine staying miles away and having to travel every day, being able to walk straight in is really quite brilliant. No traffic jams, no long drives.

I know, but it's quite expensive as most other (relatively) close camping sites are half that price. My admission ticket is cheaper than the camping sites lmao.

Are you there the full weekend or just one night?

Also, I'd like up-to-the-minute, personalised weather reports.

Thursday till Monday. Eau Rouge camping is already sold out for the weekend and so is another one they advised me to check. Those would only cost 124 € for the entire weekend (4 nights) for two persons, while the official one costs 340.

We're paying €160 for Green, just behind Les Combe. Maximum of 5 people per pitch.

No problem!

Can you spend the weekend following me and giving me 15 minute updates on when it's going to rain?

I'll be charging mine in my car. Or disconnecting from the outside world. Either or.

Hmm might buy something for my iphone then.

How are the crowds around Pouhon on Saturday and Sunday? Need to get there really early for a good spot? Can you pack some umbrella's with you to cover some ground in case of RAIN?

We sat at Pouhon in 2010, we got there as early as we could and could only really sit at the top of the hill just before the first left. A great vantage point as you get a giant screen in front of you. Saturday it's not as busy, especially when the support sessions are on.
