Damn these 2001 videos really made me miss the engine race towards more power and the nice looking cars of that time, plus the tyre war. In other words, motor racing.

Tyre war is only fun the first days of free practice when you realise that cars are running 4 seconds a lap faster than the previous year. Then you sit through boring races and boring championships.

I'm thankful the FIA dumped all that bullcrap in favor of providing a real competitive show for the fans.

Bianchi just said on Sky that when he steered to the left to correct the slide his elbow got blocked & he wasn't able to turn back to the right.

Already more accidents just at Suzuka than we've seen in other races since Canada.
Still believe race will be totally uneventful.
