And that another reason why cars are undrivable in wet conditions. Bring back warm-up, especially if it's wet. Never understood the reason for parc ferme.

Cost control. Stops them running quali only parts and changing the cars completely for the race.

I could assume they can change a lot of setup things without changing any parts. Increase ride height in the rain, soften suspension and so on. Rear wing might be difficult, front wing has that quick setup which they also do sometimes during the pit stops.

it looks more lika a index finger than a middle finger. in its context it could simply be a fan asking something like "please just one picture" "please just one autograph" "please stay just one minute". dont forget we're in italy.

Ferrari fined $10000 for releasing Massa too late in FP1, which is why he didn't reach the end of pit lane before the red light.

The soundtrack made me chuckle: Hymn by Vangelis is well known in Itay for being the soundtrack for Barilla commercials during the 80s, so it' quite fitting for a nosalgia video about something in Italy.
If anybody has the chance, visit the high-speed oval. Pictures and videos don't do it justice

Spent the day at the track, couple of thoughts:

Lotus were the only cars with glowing brake discs coming into the first chicane, especially Grosjeans car, also struggled to stop a few times. Has there been an explanation for Kimi's Spa brake failure? Could be interesting come Sunday.

The Marussia and Caterham drivers took a fair bit of FP2 just to master the correct line into the first chicane, didn't expect that.

Slightly off topic, Porsche's are much better to watch at the track than I expected, the amount of corrections you could see the drivers applying through Ascari was cool. Also surprising the variation from drivers who wouldn't touch the kerbs to drivers who flew over them.

GP3 are dull dull dull to watch during practice.

The team said a visor tear off was blocking the brake cooling duct.

The person that posted the photo said the police came and removed them.
Or more precisely, they run away to avoid being arrested
