Interesting to see that incident from that thermal onboard camera.

This interview with Bernie on Sky

"Don't you have an agreement with the teams to only have 20 races?"
"Yep"
"But there are 22 races?"
"Yep"

Bernie can be quite brilliant sometimes, he will be missed when he eventually goes. F1 won't be the same without him.

Bernie's great. I'm sure far more people would like him if they ever realise he's the boss of FOM, not the FIA.

Loved it. That interview is why you can't take Bernie's quotes at face values.

Di Resta's Right/Front brake disc fractured which caused the accident in FP3.

Shit, not the best failure to have on this track :o

That thermal cam is great. It really shows how effective the camber is.
I'm also just discovering that even under heavy braking on a straight line, the tyre doesn't deform enough to have full contact surface, so they only use the inside of the tread to brake really.

It shows how much heat transfers from the brakes through the tyre though which is cool.

Grosjean with 4 wheels off the line at ascari exit, are they cancelling the times in that case?

If Webber didn't have a failure, the fabric of reality would tear and we'd be all sucked into a void.
