Van de Garde - backmarkers have been going so well for so long, don't think a back marker has hit a race contender for years (aside from Karthikeyan and Vettel at Malaysia, which wasn't Narain's fault). After reading this article (http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/108013) saying VdG blamed Webber for his accident, I want to give 12 votes to him.

Where does he say this?

GVDG wrote:
"From my view, he was quite far behind me for the hairpin," van der Garde told AUTOSPORT. "I turned in and he hit me.

"Before the braking zone, I saw him and [decided] I would let him past on the next straight.

"It is tough, but I am one of the fairest drivers out there and I don't hit anybody.'

That's not blaming him for it, if you ask me.

He also said this:

"I feel a bit sorry for Mark - it was not my intention to hit him."

Sounds like an apology to me.

VDG and Williams. 14th from 3rd without a major drama, just being slow, is very worrying ... did they fluke last year's revival? McLaren were also poor.

He didn't accept fault for the accident, he just danced around the whole topic without claiming responsibility. He was vague as possible. Smarter thing to do would be to apologise for the accident, not just saying "I didn't mean to hit him he just put his car there"

Real tough day. Wanna say sorry @AussieGrit

On Twitter. That's an apology.
