Seems we will have 2 DRS zones but only 1 detection point :?

1st zone will be same length as it was last year, The 2nd will be down the start/finish straght & will be shorter than when a 2nd zone was placed there in 2011.

Seriously that has to be the most ridiculous use of DRS yet.

I don't remember anything from the race last year. That podium picture is like "WTF is Grosjean doing there?"

we need a race with no delays, race at afternoons are dangerous, if it happens the same as 2011, broadcaster take the race to show football

He's probably saying that the race in Canada is broadcast at such a time in Brazil, that if there is any delay to the race (like in 2011) that his local broadcasters will ditch the GP for football.

anyway love this track, hopeful for good racing despite heavy tire wear

For a Canadian Grand Prix it was pretty clean race. No SCs. At the beginning, top 3 (HAM, VET, ALO) seemed to be on their own, but only Hamilton decided to make a second pit stop when it was optimal time to do it. Vettel and Alonso faded towards the end, Grosjean and Perez moved up.

hey, I have invested 3 minutes making this... don't complain will ya :p

Actually the 2012 race was pretty nice. I guess Grosjean would have caught Hamilton if there would have been 1 or 2 more laps, he was so close at the end.
Also, I have removed the teams from the poll, feel free to vote again.

Montreal is always one of the highlights of the season. The track, the scenery and the atmosphere is such magnificent. Top speeds and wall of the champions. Many memorable races belong to the past.
The race last year was oddly dull. Maybe because everyone anticipated huge lottery race and then there was zero safety cars.
If one trusts weather report, it should rain during some session. As always, I doubt it's going to be the race.

I don't even look that much forward to F1 Sundays anymore. To me, the only really good sessions that I enjoy now are FPs(exception to the last 30 min of FP2) and Q

In Indy we have seen real races in Sao Paulo and last weekend in Belle Isle. Drivers can push all the time, even if the softer tires naturally loses a bit of pace after some decent amount of fast laps with them(not the Pirelli farce)

There were lots of very entertaining battles last Sunday(when there wasn't SCs), some overtakes done with rare skill, and only drivers on tight strategy that had to control their pace to save fuel, other than that, pedal to the metal as motorsport have always been all about

The only thing I hate about Indy(on road courses as I don't even watch ovals)is the improvised "tracks" they race on that will inevitably lead to lots of SCs interrupting the race every now and then and even that have big risks of happening next Sunday to make it even worse.

With less than half of Montreal's back straight, overtaking position change will have already taken place, blandly

don't worry Artur. Jean Todt shares your view and will probably bring in more durable tyres, and with it Michelin.

First time in years where I will be able to watch the race entirely, so expect a shit show.

I would love to have Michelin back but I think they would only want to return in a tire war scenario

Letting my rant aside, I think a Mercedes pole looks quite certain here, and this time Lewis might give Nico a run for his money as he's somewhat of a specialist on this track, but the race situation will be a very different thing to that of Monaco. I don't expect any silver arrow fighting for the podium.

Canada. A Grand Prix where expectations for a spectacle are high. Aswell as the dissapointment when the race is dull. Hoping for a good one.
