I don't dislike the track (sector 2 is pretty cool), but wasn't that all down to the monsoon that day?

The two dry races after that weren't anything special, mainly because of Seb ofcourse..

The first 2 sectors are great for me. But 3rd isnt good. The track has the shape of Croatia if you look at the map. And i live there where the fastest corners are, turns 8-9

Good news; the forecast for Fitow now suggests that it will run into a ridge of high pressure, slow down and be curved off towards China.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I like this race as it's the first one where autumn clearly shows (with the low sun);

I'd probably like it a bit more if there wasn't so much damn run-off throughout S2. It's had a few good moments in 2011 and 2012 but a combination of an early mornings and the mass of races around this time means I quite often forget what actually happened.

I remember that race for the GOIN MUDDIN theme, courtesy of Webber's lapse.

Revised pit exit.

Ermmmm.... right....?!

So someone misses their braking point or has a mechanical failure heading into turn one just as someone is exiting the pits....

BOOOOMMMMM

As would have happened as well last year. But I get your point.

A safer solution would be to put some gravel and then a wall to protect the pit exit. Either way, it's one of several errors at the circuit.

Meh, yes and no really. The exit last year was directly on the turn in point, whereas now the exit ambles around the entirety of turn one.

Have you seen the exit of the endurance pitlane at Spa already? Talk about exiting at a very "hot" spot in terms of possible accidents :p (I admit, it was worse before)

Agreed, they wouldn't even have lost that much run off to add a wall protecting the pit exit. Think there's slightly less risk of a car getting nailed exiting the pits by another car compared to the risk of pulling straight out into a couple of cars fighting into turn 1.

While we're on the subject of Korea, the promoter says there's a 50-50 chance of the 2014 event happening & they'd consider a night race

The risk is in the length of time they are in the exit lane and how the cars are exposed as they leave the pitlane. So the risk is potentially greater now. A car spinning, locking up, having a mechanical issue will now mean anything in that exit will be directly in the line of fire. Also, cars exiting the pits will be broadside to the traffic coming into turn one and at slow speed, instead of being side by side at a much higher speed.

Before, cars exiting the pit lane could be seen and avoiding action could be taken. Donington Park has exactly the same pit lane exit.

It will also be really easy for someone coming out of the pits to overdo it and go past the white line triggering a penalty

Bianchi will stay with Marussia in 2014. Excellent.
