I see what you're saying, but Jenson is an accomplished World Champion. He may not be on the same level as Vettel / Hamilton / Alonso but he's certainly ahead of the others. Kind of an inbetweener.

Turbos from the eighties were brutal, the 2006 V8's are nothing in comparison. The 2014 1.6 turbos will be veyr interesting and in my opinion much better sounding that the whiny boring current engines.

It will all stand or fall with the exhaust they use.

The right (or wrong) exhaust can make a 1.0l 3 cylinder car sound awesome while another exhaust can make a V12 sound like shit.

Every year like 2012 would be nice, but it doesn't happen. F1 changes, and it needs to change before everything stagnates.

Just as an aside, Hadsley + I caught up with Paul Hembery yesterday. On the podcast you'll hear Hadsley bowing down before Hembery!

Heh, it's a good little interview if you cut me out of it, noted for when I edit the podcast :p

It's such a surreal experience.....

Interviewing Paul Hembrey and Ben Edwards walks by.

Waiting for Louise Goodman and Alan Gow walks by.

Tim Havey and Toby Moody are chilling out chatting in a group as we sidle by..

Waiting to talk to John Watson and we're cue jumped by Tony Mason, the old Top Gear Rallying correspondant.

All those people we usually only see on TV during the year and they're right there in front of us.

Ok, trying their hardest to not talk to us, but still.....bizarre experience :p

Seriously now. Is that really what you feel Tony Mason is best known for?

Tsk tsk, kids these days!

You're right, apologies.

Tony Mason, best known for having a huge snowball thrown over him on one of the Aunties Bloomers Blooper shows....

Better? :p

Paul had to tell me who he was... sorry!

And yes, it was surreal. But you forgot Moody and Harvey were talking to the god of F1 journalism, David Tremayne! Oh yeah, waiting for Wattie and we get queue jumped

And your desperate search for food. All I had was a Dairy Milk and some free Orange Juice!

No, but Paul Hembery was nice, he was willing to chat. On the train home I thought of one or two questions and thought 'bugger'! :p And I have a shot of Brundle talking to you! - you need to show me your photos and Manish's.

For some reason I always thought it was Nick Mason of Pink Floyd that had hosted Top Gear.

My photo's are just of cars, Manish had the good camera and was on the ball enough to take pics as I was interviewing Hembrey or being asked by Crofty...

Will let you know when he dropboxes me them :)

Cool, I'd like the Hembery ones at least - or any I'm in! :p So vain!

I have one of you when you're taking a shot of the Caterham from the front and I'm by the rear wing taking a picture :p

Talking about the 2014 engines, they look brutal. Didn't know a turbo was that big!

I think you'll find that I've been confusing Nick and Tony as well

A-ha! As the first time in history where I have some sort of moral high ground over you, I DEMAND you apologise :p

Wow, this is a new feeling....

Indeed, after all these years. Don't get used to it.

I'm sorry you've got such poor taste in avatars. :p

Any good?
