Any news about Bottas?

Bottas is a Williams / Toto Wolff protege. I can't imagine he'd be dropped unless they really need cash.

Wouldn't mind if he stays, would be nice if we see more great moments from him like his third place in qualifying in Canada.

He won't get dropped unless Williams is in dire need of money - even then, Bottas brings some personal sponsors and he is highly regarded within the team.

Caterham could be interesting because Kovalainen might come back, but that would be at the expense of Van der Garde, who has actually had a very good season.

Bottas is there because Wolff is there. If Wolff is bought out by someone with an interest in seeing a different driver in the car e.g. Marcel Boekhoorn, then Valtteri will spend his immediate future racing touring cars.

On the flipside, he would be first line should either Nico or Lewis walk away.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Bottas is probably part of the commercial package for Williams having Mercedes engines in 2014. I can see him joining Mercedes in a couple of years to replace Lewis or Nico, like you say.

Nice to see an investor with some sense!

Pastor at FI with di Resta would make sense to me (never rated Sutil).

Sauber I can see being Sirotkin and Gutierrez.

Keep hearing talk of Kovalainen back at Caterham. Where would they have found the money they didn't have last year and potentially not getting the 10th place money (like last year)?

I'd be surprised if Sauber went with Sirotkin and Gutierrez.

There's something up with Sutil if he says he has signed a 2014 deal somewhere. Force India don't do driver contracts until December yet he says he has 2014 sorted.

Yes there is something up with Sutil, he's taking a leaf out of Ralf Schumacher's book by parading some arm candy at every GP when every knows he prefers the company of men.

Stop pretending Adrian.

What do all these drivers girlfriends do in their life??? (I always ask myself when i see them on TV every GP weekend??)
Dont they have a job or something?? Or are they there just for the cameras..??
I understand for Monaco (everybody wants to be seen)

But every GP they are there!!! I mean WTF do they do in their lifes??
Ok all of them are "models", but still what is their occupation?? Where do they get the money to live - oh fuck the driver gives her the money!!

I like it a lot how Vettel is doing it. He wont tell anything and 100% focusing on job. While Lewis does the opposite, ask him about all the parties he had been and about Nicole and hell tell you everything..
And then he takes his privat problems to the track and cant focus on the job.
Now its all over and Sebastian and RBR have wonn everything and now they can bring their girlfriends and families to the track - cuz it doesnt matter anymore - they have won it all!!

One thing is for sure, he has the cutest best looking girlfriend of all the drivers, IMO.

Did Magnussen decline his GP2 test?

I read a Dutch report that this is the case and it might have to do with him racing for McLaren next year. Their source is Tom Cary from The Telegraph. Don't know if this is reliable.

They knew eachother from highschool as well, so it's not like she's one that has jumped on the bandwagon when he got famous

TBH I can't see him racing at McLaren next year, I supose they would first let him race for Marussia one year.

Although it could make sense in their "2 young guns" approach. It's likely that 2014 is the last year for Button and it might be too big of a risk to let both Vandoorne and Magnussen debut in 2015 at the same time. When they replace Perez with Magnussen in 2014, that won't be an issue.

The Telegraph is under the impression that McLaren is seriously considering Magnussen for Perez

That article is nothing more that speculation and assumption based on little understanding of facts. But anyway, Autosport has a different opinion - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/111146

DAMS is not really happy about that move. A 20k fine us coming their way since finding a replacement is not possible anymore

There is clearly something under this brutal mind change. JP Driot seemed to be pretty upset about this and, no respect for the team which allowed Kevin to win the FR3.5 championship.
