And if you follow him on Twitter, said new doctor is supposedly useless.

When you see what he tried to do to improve communication (that book he talks about) etc, tell fans of developments it really makes the FIA look foolish.

Maybe the kinetic getting released when someone puts his fat ass in the seat is enough.

Interview with Dr. Gary Hartstein, former FIA MD for F1. Mentions why his contract wasn't renewed.

Interesting interview. So the reason was Twitter combined with Gary's loudmouth personality and questioning FIA's denial of the situation of Bahrain. Plus FIA doesn't want stars like Sid anymore. Which explains why the new doctor hasn't virtually made any public appearance so far.

Neither did anyone of the FIA staff apart from Jean Todt. I think I have never actually seen or read a proper interview with Charlie Whiting, Herbie Blash, Jo Bauer and so on. Only Bernd Maylander gets some attention here in Germany (obviously because he is German).

You park the car at the top of a hill, pointing downwards. Let the car freewheel downhill while riding the brakes to create kinetic energy. By the time you've reached the bottom you have a full battery.

We can trade you some hilly islands for any future metropoli (incorrect plural, but I'm not working today so that's not important) you may have ... what's left in your colonial portfolio?

(You guys seemed happy with this deal for New York ... some of the Shetland Islands do? We might as well sell them off before Scotland goes independent. I'm brokering this deal from Spain. The Spanish government may sell you Catalunya for the right price, I'll ask my contact. I don't have contacts.)

The Dutch have nothing. Just some islands. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netherlands_Antilles

Might be some oil there, I dunno.

Or they could dredge the North Sea for us.

next season all engine suppliers start from scratch with the new turbo engine

During the first year the engine suppliers will learn a whole lot, and the engines for 2015 will have all the potential problems sorted out.

And then Honda will enter with their engine? When the others will be on 'full modus' after one full year of learning the new engine rules.

To me that seems not the best timing. But I remember their timing for quitting F1 wasn't that particular good either...
