Malaysia 2013 was well deserved payback for his deliberate shenanigans at Brazil 2012.

This theory did not stand up when the Brazil race was rebroadcast recently

What Vettel tried to paint as "blocking me at the start" is him veering away from a fast starting Massa cutting across his path (yet still leaves a bit of room for Seb into T1)

At the restart, he gets a run on both Seb and the car he was passing (Can't remember, maybe Di Resta) and basically runs off the road in T1 to prevent coming anywhere near Seb or holding him up

Then later, on the onboard footage they uploaded, the team asked him to get out of the way of Seb after his pit stop, which he does immediately.

Basically, the "Mark risked my championship so I got revenge in Malaysia" is horse shit from Seb to try and justify his temper tantrum behind the wheel at being told to respect team orders.
Something Mark did every time when it came to finishing behind Vettel, but Vettel has had a problem with multiple times at both Red bull and Ferrari, even if it compromises the team's and even his own race.

Good attempt at a counter theory but doesn't hold much weight IMO when you look at Webber's antics over the race as a whole and put yourself into Vettel's shoes as to why he felt payback was necessary:

- Cutting across his path? No, that was not the case. Massa had a much better start and went clean around the outside of Webber. In fact, take a look at the start from Massa's onboard and it's evident that Webber had already started squeezing Vettel towards the pit wall before Massa even appeared on the scene.
- Shortly afterwards, Webber didn't bother to defend against Alonso at all.
- Later on in the race, when Vettel caught him while fighting back through the field, Webber battled him for position rather than letting him go. Not to mention the cheeky "Where's that switch mate?" line while holding up Vettel for a corner.

All in all, for someone that had supposedly promised to help Vettel out for the championship, he didn't appear to go much out of his way to provide much support. So when you take all of that into consideration from Vettel's perspective, one can see why he felt Malaysia 2013 was a well deserved and necessary payback rather than a temper tantrum in the heat of the moment.

This dude won Silverstone beating Alonso with pure class and was 2nd in the table with a decent amount of the races. He seemed to be the challenger against Alonso, then he became completely hopeless in the final half of the season.

Webber had something in his history with Vettel from the german's early days. A bonehead move denied a great result for both in Japan 2007, for much less drivers were fired from Red Bull right away

I imagine it was the same as in 2010 - Red Bull started gearing the car more around Seb, plus the tracks towards the end of the season were a few Tilke circuits which suited his driving style more

In 2010 there's also the story of Webber fracturing his shoulder in a mountain bike accident, which made him driving the final races of the season injuried.

So Multi 12 meant Vettel (Number 1 driver) should be in front of Webber (Number 2), and Multi 21 obviously meant Webber (2) was to stay in front of Vettel (1).

Captain Obvious reporting for duty.

You only understood it after I explained.

Prove me wrong!

I guess it was quite hard to believe there was a multi12, as that was estabilished in a pre race briefing with Horner telling Mark "Seb must finish ahead"

pretty much like that scene in Driven when Burt Reynolds tells Stallone "he drives, him first you second. you block, he wins"
