Yeah I cannot see that happening. They may be desperate to win but I'm sure Massa has more moral fibre than that.

If Alonso wins, it's going to be one of the most incredible F1 championships ever.....and Alonso more than anybody else deserves it. To make a championship like that, I mean, he's put himself as a championship contender driving the car he's got, it shows he's way more than a good driver, he's a myth!

More than anybody else I'll be cheering for Alonso and hopefully weather conditions may help him.

I'm not convinced Alonso deserves it. He really messed up in Suzuka.

Actually I hope Massa wins this race.

It's hard to choose someone to cheer for, Vettel sometimes act like a spoiled child, his reactions sometimes like in his radio about the overtake are just unbeliveable, it seems a teenager, but Alonso is like a spoiled child the whole freaking time! He complains about everything even with the whole team working for him, nothing is enough for Alonso, this is really annoying. Anyway between them I stick with Vettel, he's "less worse" than Alonso.

Is it possible to have less fanboyism and hating in this thread and more about the racing itself?

I hope above all that it's going to be an exciting race, just like 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008 races were.

I agree with this. On both counts. I don't think Alonso has been on it for a while. And I hope Massa wins at his home crowd. He's been brilliant recently and deserves that win.

so he doesn't deserve it based on 1 move in 1 corner in 1 race?

That was one example.

I'd say Lewis "deserves" it more than either Vettel or Alonso.

Lewis has been driver of the season so far. He's punched above his weight several times. But I guess it proves that F1 really is a team sport, and he doesn't have the car or team behind him to get it done. McLaren are going to miss Lewis.

With the crapbox Alonso drove this season, I'm amazed he's still even in the hunt.

Personally I didn't find Vettel's season very impressive. His winning streak was great but overall I feel that Hamilton has been the best this season, followed by Fernando.

Senna drove an equally inferior car in '93 and won 5 races against the dominant Williams.

Bernie Ecclestone has visited Beto Carrero World Park in Santa Catarina state this Tuesday. He's evaluating a possibility of changing the address of brazilian Grand Prix from 2014 onwards.

He denied he's not negotiating with São Paulo's new major but everything is leading to the fact Interlagos is no longer taking part on the F1 schedule in a near future because the new mayor doesn't want to spend the funds required to make all reforms Bernie wants.

Rio de Janeiro (and its possible new track) and Santa Catarina may be the best options for brazilian Grand Prix in the future. Bernie was impressed with the structure found in the Beto Carrero World Park, maybe that's a strong possibility.

Am I the only one who wants Vettel to win the title? I mean, he's not one of my favourite drivers, but I've never liked Alonso. For all the talent he has, I just can't stand his attitude and bitching. I know plenty of past champions have always had a whine and demanded number one status, but I just really can't stand him. Sue me. :p

Hamilton, Vettel, and Alonso are all equally deserving of the title this season, in my opinion. They've been a class above the rest.

My thoughts 100%. How anyone can pull for Alonso is beyond me. :yuk:

But hey, different strokes for different folks.

I'm pretty split between liking Vettel or Alonso in terms of who I like more but I'd rather Alonso won instead of Vettel winning 3 in a row.

I'd be sad to lose interlagos, its a good track for racing with plenty of history. Would the other options be brand new tracks with all that goes with that?
