I was just wondering, if Kimi will finish the race next week, does he then have the record of finishing most - and all - races during one season? :)

Kimi has already a record of most races finished (19) during the season. Most races finished while finishing all belongs to Heidfeld in 2008.

Monteiro (2005), Massa (2010), Vettel, Webber and Alonso (all three in 2011) have finished 18/19 races.

If Raikkonen retires at the weekend , Massa, di Resta, Ricciardo, Kovalainen and arguably Senna and Vettel could join him on 19 finishes in year, though Senna had actually stopped during the race at two GP's this year, but close enough to actually be counted. Personally I think the cars are too reliable.

Glock has also retired just once, but started one less GP.

in 2002 Schumacher finished every race on the podium, the year had 17 races.
