I won't see this LIVE, as I'm at Rockingham for the BTCC.

After last year's problems with the kerbs, they've had steel ones fitted.

I was hoping they'd leave them out, just let the cars run all the way to the wall like they did last year.

are we talking about the kerbs at the sling specifically, or on other sections of the track?

Around the other sections. Remember that last year I think at Turns 3, 7 and 14 they kept coming loose and eventually they just painted a kerb on, which most drivers ignored. I always find it a shame they can't remodel the Sling, I find it horrible.

nah, it's an integral part of the circuit. Frustrating, but adds that extra element.

If the drivers moan about something, it's usually a good thing that there needs to be more of.

Therefore, the Singapore Sling is one of the best things in F1.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It just irritates me. I find it pointless. I'll make an extra effort to like it this year :p

Favourite part of the circuit has to be the penultimate/last corners. Love those sweepers.

I like the drifting at the exit of Turn 1 in order to place the car in the best possible position for Turn 3.

I can already imagine the slow-mo's of the drifters: Schumacher, Raikkonen, maybe Alonso.

I love the whole night experience; seeing the cars under the lights. And being able to see the drivers eyes.

For some reason I have a feeling this race is going to suck balls.

There's usually something going on. Even if it does suck, it's an awesome spectacle.

Every race has some sort of intrigue. It doesn't have to be a race with 100 overtakes to be exciting.

Although 2012 is going down the trend of 2011 a little - teams understanding the tyres from mid-season and the races on the whole being calmer.

I'm looking forward to this race. It's the longest race in calendar (without rain-delays or SC periods) lasting for almost two hours (1:56:06.337 was the fastest race in 2009 here). Funny thing that it comes right after Monza, which is the shortest race of the year :)

always a race to look forward too, because the track lay out is so 'unusual' at some parts.

the sparks, the clear visors, the blue flames of heat coming from the exhaust, the unusual setting. A quite unique event indeed.

This is by far the hardest race on the calendar. A really tough track, 2 hour race, heat, fatigue, racing under lights.

The circuit could do with some changes in the future to open up some of the corners and extend the back straight a bit.
