Are they referring to D'Ambrosio or Qing Hua? (I assume Qing Hua).

Yes. Custard has a fair bit of experience. As far as I know, bar the young driver test, Qing Hua's career high is the Chinese Touring Cars. It's good to finally have a Chinese driver at a race weekend, but it'd be better if there was a more capable one.

I didn't think they were talking about Devonshire... but then again, this is Autosport staff we're talking about... Let's remember this ISN'T Qing Hua's first experience of F1 machinery, as he was involved in the Young Driver Test at Silverstone earlier this summer. But then again, this IS Autosport staff we're talking about...

A comment I heard today was: "So the FIA bans Grosjean and then deems it okay to allow a guy with no experience to hurtle towards a chicane at 220mph"

Grosjean is a menace.

Qing Hua, whilst slow, is quite sedate. He has some A1GP and Superleague experience too; nothing spectacular but he didn't hit anything.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I think calling Grosjean a menace is a little over the top.

Probably, but I feel it illustrates my point. He has been banned for repeat offences. Qing Hua has committed no offences, and doesn't deserve to be prejudged.

No offense to our resident journalist but I think this illustrates the point

Karain was respectable in Spa. He drove ahead of de la Rosa for much of the time and was out of the race through no fault of his own.

Did something break on the car? I was watching with the sound off, and it looked like he was on the grass when he turned in. Or was it a loose wheel (I remember thinking how easily one of the wheels came off when he hit the wall)?

But for most of the season, De La Rosa is absolutely destroying him, and he's hardly a top line driver himself.

Looks like it. 2 DRS zones again this year.

The comparison was made between Grosjean and Qing Hua, so Pastor is irrelevant to the discussion.

However, if he were to do anything stupid this weekend, Bottas gets his debut 6 months early.
