That's what I regret about 2009, I didn't explore as much as I should have done. Hopefully I'll get enough money to go next year as media!

I'm from a French speaking family just so you know and I've never considered myself Flemish.

I was seated at Eau Rouge that year and I never noticed how sideways he was.

Well, by Villeneuve-at-Eau-Rouge standards that's not very sideways.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

True. Zonta's effort was better. I could watch Spa videos on Youtube all day.

That was more down to Takuma being Takuma rather than Eau Rouge.

Ermm no, that was thanks to Webber trying to keep his foot in through Eau Rouge despite not having a front wing and causing almost the entire field to bunch up behind him thus causing a crash.

I love this track, although it hasn't produced very many good races recently. Hopefully this year will be better.

But wasn't the crash started by him going into the back of a slow Takuma? That caused the concertina didn't it? Not him going slow.

A vid is better than a 1000 words: Sato was first slowed down by wing-less Webber as you can see from Monoya's onboard, tries to overtake, Webber understeers into him. If anything, Sato avoided an even bigger crash by aknowledging Montoya on his right side.

I remember watching this live and being sure a huge crash was awaiting given how many damaged cars there were in a bunched-up, full speed field.

Nowadays, Montoya will get a drive trough penalty for that.

Pirelli bringing the medium (white) and hard (silver) compound tyres. No saving them this year.

Its all the tarmac and the idiotic bus stop chicane, drivers get away with too many mistakes. The track itself is a total blast to drive but the driver's aren't punished for mistakes as they should be.

Hamilton's fault.

Am I the only one who cringe when I hear or read "hard tyre"? For me it automatically brings up nightmares of slowliness, conservative racing, strategy... While "soft" sounds so much better and means speed, maximum attack, high risk, overtaking orgy etc etc

I am going this weekend, but is it worth it to go on Thursday already? What are the possibilities that day?
